Body of man found in Valley Brook creek
VALLEY BROOK — The body of a man was found partially submerged in a creek Tuesday afternoon.
About 1:30 p.m., police were called to the scene in the 6500 block of Anderson Road where they found a man dead, Valley Brook police Chief Mike Stamp said.
The man — thought to be in his late 20s or early 30s — was only partially clothed, he said.
"The scene itself doesn't appear to be something natural," Stamp said.
While the area is frequented by a large number of homeless people, the man is not someone who is known to officers, he said.
The medical examiner's office will determine cause of death.
