FAIRVIEW — Major County Sheriff Steven Randolph was arrested Monday on three misdemeanor complaints.

Randolph, 44, is accused of assault and battery, malicious injury to property and reckless conduct with a firearm, according to the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation.

Randolph has not been charged.

Randolph is accused of assaulting his daughter's boyfriend. In an incident last May, Randolph reportedly pulled his sheriff's department vehicle in front of Carlos Aguilar's pickup, got out, reached through the open window of Aguilar's pickup, grabbed his clothing near the neck and threatened to kill him. After letting Aguilar go, Randolph reportedly fired a gun towards the road, according to an OSBI news release.

Randolph was arrested at the Blaine County Sheriff’s Office and booked into the county jail.
