Atoka man arrested in fatal shooting of father
ATOKA — A man was arrested Monday, accused of fatally shooting his father last week.
Wyatt Arp, 20, was booked into the Atoka County jail on a murder complaint on Monday, according to the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation.
On Thursday, sheriff's deputies responded to 522 S Bentley Road in Atoka where they found Douglas Arp, 55, dead. Wyatt Arp told investigators he dropped a gun and it fired, according to a news release.
After further questioning Monday morning, Wyatt Arp was arrested, according to the OSBI.
