A UK and Boston-based global nonprofit, MassChallenge runs start-up accelerators that connect high-impact startups like Sensulin with the resources they need to launch and succeed.

Nearly 620 alumni have raised more than $947 million in funding, generated $486 million in revenue and created 5,104 jobs.

Sensulin since 2011 has been working to develop a 24-hour glucose responsive insulin, which would provide a type 1 and type 2 diabetic patient's entire daily insulin need via a single dose.
