Gunfire wounds Biltmore Hotel employee during robbery

A hotel employee was shot during a robbery Monday afternoon, Oklahoma City police said.

About 2:50 p.m., a robbery was reported at the Biltmore Hotel, 401 S Meridian, said Lt. John Stacey.

When officers arrived, they found a man wounded by gunfire. He was taken to a local hospital and stabilized. The wounds are not believed to be life-threatening.

Multiple witnesses reported seeing the incident, but told police different things about what happened. Police are not sure if there is one or more suspects, and there is no word on what was taken.
