Oklahoma City Thunder: Catching up with the players involved in the James Harden trade

James Harden was the headliner, but there were plenty of others involved in last October's blockbuster trade that shocked the NBA world.

Where are the involved parties now? We take a quick look:

James Harden

Current situation: The centerpiece of the trade, Harden immediately signed a max deal to become the star shooting guard in Houston. The Rockets continue to build their team around him.

Kevin Martin

Current situation: Following a solid season in OKC, Kevin Martin signed a four-year, $28 million deal with Minnesota over the summer. He's expected to start and play a vital role for the Timberwolves.

Jeremy Lamb

Current situation: After a year soaking up NBA life on the bench, Lamb will fill a crucial rotation spot for the Thunder in his second season.

Steven Adams

Current situation: At the time of the trade, Adams was gearing up for his freshman season at Pittsburgh. But selected in the first round of last June's NBA draft, he becomes one of the key assets OKC acquired in the deal.

Cole Aldrich

Current situation: Aldrich's whirlwind 12 month-tour around the NBA — which included stops in OKC, Houston, Sacramento and New York — has ended with a spot on the end of the Knicks roster. He likely won't get much time this season.

Lazar Hayward

Current situation: After a brief stint with the Pelicans this preseason, Hayward was cut and is currently a free agent. He played four games for the Timberwolves last year.

Daequan Cook

Current situation: Cook finished last season getting spotty playoff minutes for the depleted Chicago Bulls, but didn't re-sign in the offseason. At this point, he remains a free agent.
