Miranda Nycole Bishard, 16, of Helena
Bishard attended Timberlake High School where she grew up. She loved riding her horse, riding 4-wheelers with her boyfriend, cheering, softball, rodeos, singing and dancing. She wore her pink boots with almost every outfit she wore. Bishard was helping her boyfriend, Austin Hall, let out his aunt's horses when the tornado struck.
Austin Hall, 22, of Enid
Hall loved the outdoors. He fished, hunted, rode three-wheelers and rode horses. He was known for his friendly disposition and ability to strike up a conversation with anyone. He worked as a roughneck, and also did some amateur bull riding. His younger brother, Kyle, was his best friend. He graduated from El Reno High School in 2008. Hall was with his girlfriend, Miranda Bishard, letting out his aunt's horses when the tornado struck.
Terry Peoples, 50, of Woodward
Peoples was a truck driver for a Woodward oil company. In his spare time he liked to hunt and fish. He was the father of two, and took care of his mother. Family members say he was a practical joker. Peoples was in a pickup along Interstate 40 near the Calumet exit when a tornado crossed the highway and sucked him out of his pickup. He was returning home from a doctor's appointment.
Don Wesley Krug, 71, of Hooker
Krug was a farmer and retired in April as a county maintenance worker. He was a deacon at his church and taught Sunday school since age 15. He attended Panhandle A&M for two years and served in the U.S. Army from 1961 to 1963. In 1963 he married Joan Diane Lynch and they made their first home on the family dairy farm in Hough.
Joan Diane Krug, 67, of Hooker
Krug was a homemaker and mother of four daughters. She had 12 grandchildren. She and her husband, Don Krug, met in church in 1962 while she was attending Blair Business College in Colorado Springs. She was adopted, but later reconnected with her birth mother and brothers. She was a church secretary for several years.
Sharon Dodd, 58, of Cashion
Dodd was a 1971 graduate of Edmond High School. She was a wife, mother and grandmother. She rescued and cared for abandoned dogs. She was an artist and helped her husband craft furniture. Dodd died at her residence when she moved from a safe place to rescue her dogs.
Billy Leeper, 64, of Cashion
Leeper, a construction supervisor, was a Vietnam War veteran. He died in the tornado protecting his wife, Pamela Leeper. He threw himself over her to protect her from debris and was crushed.
Ryan Hamil, 3, of Piedmont
Ryan Hamil was thrown from the bathtub inside the home where he was huddled with his family into a nearby pond. Rescuers searched for him until his body was found Thursday morning.
Cole Hamil, 15 months, of Piedmont
Cole Hamil was in a bathtub with his brother, sister and mother at the family's home in Piedmont when a massive tornado tore the house apart and threw him 50 yards.
Laron Short, 24, of Chickasha
Short was a recent graduate from the University of Science and Arts of Oklahoma. She wanted to be a journalist and had a strong interest in politics. A college advisor said she had a passion for wanting to change the world and helping people see beyond stereotypes. She had just returned from a five-month trip to Australia where met a new love interest. She was at her mother's mobile home when it was hit by a tornado Tuesday.
